Instructor Resources

This is a series of Video lectures created by ECC faculty that your students may find helpful.

Creating your syllabus?  Download the latest Divisional Course outlines

For free online modeling and demonstrations of random sampling, visit http://lock5stat.com/statkey/

Math 911 is a free statistics teaching software, created by Professor Weissman.  Ask him for a copy if you'd like to try it out.

Want to use online homework?  Visit www.mystatlab.com, and request a Pearson account.  Then, contact the course coordinator to help you set up your course, borosz@essex.edu

Looking for good data sources to play with?  www.gapminder.org has a lot of great exercises.  The US Census bureau, the Department of Education, and the CDC are also great sources.

Want to use computers in your course?  Talk to the division chair about borrowing a set of laptops, or ask whether you can take your class to the computer lab for a day.

If you have a great activity or resource that you want to share, let me know and I will post it here, or just add it in the comments.
